As part of the nation, film industry of India has strongly reacted over the shameful incident of rape in Delhi. While Bollywood stars Like Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan, Priyanka Chopra and Kareena Kapoor have expressed their anger over Delhi rape case and demanded for quick punishment to the rapists, young directors and actors have even attempted to appeal the country and its people to ensure justice to the victim and punishment to the culprits.

Drove by his concern about the recent case of Delhi gang rape where a 23 year old para-medical girl was raped by a group of four in a running bus and later thrown out of the bus along with her boyfriend, Mumbai 125kms Director Hemant Madhukar wants to show the real story of Delhi rape case through his upcoming movie “Delhi Mafia”.

 

 

In the film, Hemant has decided to present real situations in Delhi that make women suffer. Director Hemant Madhukar, while telling about his film, says, “It is very shameful incident that happened in Delhi which shocks entire nation. My movie is inspired by Delhi rape case I just want to depict the real face of Delhi and how our sister and daughter face it every day”.

Hemant Madhukar takes a stand to support rape victim and demand severe punishment for the culprits. The cast and crew of movie is to be finalized soon as Hemant looks forward to bring his movie on floor as soon as possible.

Actress of “The City That Never Sleeps”, Suzanna Reddy expressed her anger through fashion photo shoot by western photographer to protest against the inhuman assault on the Delhi girl travelling by a bus. Demanding justice to the victim and severe punishment to the accused Suzanna says, "New Delhi gang-rape...shameful and shameless. The man who raped should be castrated or hanged”.

While Producer Satish Reddy opined that “India can do justice by giving death sentence or life imprisonment to the culprits and set an example for any such perpetrator in the future”, director Haroon Rashid expressed his concern over the safety of women in India and said, “The horrific rape case in New Delhi is beyond any kind of vocabulary to describe. It is an act of a demon, a monster that deserves the harshest punishment. There should be reassessment of the existing laws in the country for speedy justice. I personally feel Mumbai is safer than Delhi”.
